San Antonio Farm

A few weeks ago a couple friends and I headed out the San Antonio Preserve where they have a 1 mile hike to a farm.  It was beautiful outside and I really enjoyed the company!  Mason liked the animals and being outside.

Giggles

So far the babe has only really giggled for the Grandparents and aunts (what the heck!?!) so I finally figured out how to get to him.  Please excuse the silly behavior, I guess having a baby brings out that side of me.  I am just happy that he giggled for me!!

Our Little Pipsqueak - 4 Month Stats

So we took the babe in for his 4 month check up.  He really didn't like the shots this time and the poor little guy seemed to be in pain for the next 24 hours.  Thank goodness for modern day medicine!  So...he is still pretty small, but is really tall! We are going to start him on rice cereal today and then solids next week.  We are excited and hopefully he is too! :)

Weight: 13lbs 7 oz (25%)
Height: 25 3/4 Inches (80%)

His favorite activities these days are sucking on his hands (all day long!), giggling more, sleeping REALLY well, sticking out his tongue, doing raspberries with his tongue and drooling.

Here are some pics doing some of his favorite things!

A Real Date

On Saturday 3/10/12 we dropped Mason off at the Wolf's and Terrill and I headed out for a date to the temple and dinner.  I was slightly nervous to leave Mason because the night before he wouldn't take the bottle from Terrill and was screaming for a long time, but overall he did well with the Wolf's.  They said he screamed for about 40 minutes (yikes!!) but we are SOO grateful that they were willing to watch him so we could go out!  Honestly sometimes I think about my life and ask myself why I am so blessed.  I have such a wonderful family and the gospel.  I am just so blessed! We headed up for a 3pm session and it was amazing.  Then we went to the Basil Leaf Cafe in Danville for dinner.  It was delicious and Terrill and I had a great time together.  Now that we have a baby, I really cherish the one on one time we have together!!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Ashley for watching him!!

Date Night on the Deck

On Saturday, we put the little one to sleep and decided to 'get out of the house' and cook up some tin foil dinners and roast marshmallows on our BBQ Terrill got for Christmas.  It was so much fun and the weather was perfect!!

Tahoe in February

On February 16th we headed up to Tahoe to spend the weekend with Terrill's family.  Mason was a champ in the car and we stopped at one of our favorite places to eat along the way, Islands.  The weekend consisted of hanging out with family, mason giggling only for Grandma and Grandpa (what the heck!), eating yummy food, relaxing, going to the rec center (on a date!), eating sushi and an adventurous sledding experience.  Needless to say we had a blast! Terrill came back from the trip looking slightly different than when we got there.  He had a brief run-in with a tree at the bottom of the sledding run. What a guy.

Valentines Day

On Valentines day we decided to do a little family photo shoot.  While the poses are kind of boring and normal, we had a ton of fun snapping these shots.  Mason for some reason thought the ducks were really funny so that is how we got him to smile.  He is really giggling in all if these.  We hope everyone had a great Valentines day!

We tried to get him to look but it obviously didn't work.
