I am still playing catch up, but at least I am doin it! We spent the week of the 4th of July in Tahoe with the Wolfs. It was a blast to have everyone together and we spent time on the beach, boat, hiking, eating and staying up late talking. On the 4th we went out on the boat at night to watch the fireworks. It was a warm night and the kids really loved it! We also had a family photo shoot where Laurie and Rudy each had their cameras set up making sure the perfect picture was taken! Thank you Wolf's for such a wonderful week.

So I am still playing catchup but that is okay!! In June we started a series of trips when we headed out to Utah to see my Cousin Preston get married. The whole day was wonderful and they are such an adorable couple. We had such a blast being there with all of our family and friends!! The little ones had quiet the time at the reception running around in the halls!

Las Trampas Hike in June
I am so behind in blogging but I need to start somewhere! Life really has been wonderful and we are so richly blessed in every aspect of our lives. Back in June, Terrill, Mason and I went for a hike in Las Trampas. We really loved this hike because it has a paved trail and great views. We forgot the baby backpack so Mason walked some of the way. He would get really excited and run and then realize running up hill is hard and then want us to hold him. Overall he did a fantastic job and it was a great way to start our Saturday morning!

San Diego Vacation
Last weekend we had the amazing opportunity to go on vacation in San Diego with amazing friends. They are actually friends Terrill knew in high school. The whole trip was a blast. We stayed in rooms right next to each other and did everything together. The couple we met down there have a boy about the same age as Mason so we were even able to get naps in each day. It was awesome!! On the drive down we had some time to stop in Irvine and Newport Beach to meet up with one of Terrill's best friends and we also got to see where he used to live. The first day we had we went to Sea world. My favorite part of that was the Shamu show. After Sea world we headed down to seaport village and walked around and then had an amazing meal. I realized that I have a love for smoked salmon as I got it at practically every place we went too! The fish down there was just so good!
The second day we headed to the zoo. The animals and exhibits were really impressive and I would almost recommend this over Sea world. There was just so much to see that we didn't even see all of it! That night we got the famous Phil's BBQ which was delicious and then Mike and Phi came over to our room and we talked and hung out.
The third day was Sunday, so we didn't plan anything too big. Terrill, Mason and I went to church in the morning and then we met up with our friends. We went to the Mormon battalion site in old San Diego and enjoyed real authentic mexican food with homemade tortillas. Yum! After the boys naps, we decided to walk in La Jolla and see the beach. It was really beautiful. Then we got dinner at a fish market and had a picnic at the temple. Another incredible day!
The fourth and final day started out with meeting my aunt and uncle for breakfast. We went to Hash Brown a Go Go. It was soooo good. Then we met up with Mike and Phi around 10 in Coronado. We rented beach cruisers and rode around the whole island. The guys hauled the little guys in a trailer and said that it wasn't hard at all. Then we walked around some shops and had lunch and chocolates. After nap time, we headed to little Italy where we enjoyed dessert and dinner (dessert first of course) and then more dessert at yogurt land. Again, another incredible day! I just had so much fun with Mike, Phi and Parker. What a perfect vacation and what wonderful friends they are!!
