Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday (10/20) we decided to go on a family outing to the pumpkin patch.  The weather was perfect and its finally starting to feel like fall!  Terrill took mason down the big slide they had and I think he had more fun then Mason did, but isn't that what being a parent is all about sometimes??  We picked a pumpkin took some fun pictures then went to Mountain Mikes for pizza.  It was a very fun time!

Halloween Cookie Decorating with Amy and Sister!!

Last year on Halloween I was super huge and pregnant so my middle school bestie Amy, came over to decorate cookies with me and lift my spirits!! We decided to make a tradition of it.  She just had a BEAUTIFUL baby about 2 1/2 months ago and she came over to decorate cookies with us.  My sister and 2 of her kids also joined us.  It was a blast and I am sure Amy was wiped out by it but it made my day to see her and Hazel!

Mason 11 Months

I can't believe he is 11 months and will soon be one.  So I tried to take some pictures of Mason holding an '11 month' sign.  Needless to say, I was pretty unsuccessful.  Here are some pics of my little man and some of his favorite things!

Garden Harvest - September 7, 2012

It may seem small, but a couple of days ago I made deli sandwiches for us and went out to garden and picked some fresh lettuce and basil to put in the sandwiches.  It was heavenly and it made it ten times more fun because it was from OUR garden!!!

Mystery Spot - September 3, 2012

On Labor Day,  Terrill and I decided to go to the Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz.  It is such a touristy thing to do being from there, but he had never gone and I had fond memories of going with my Dad when I was younger so we thought it would be fun!! Well, it was really fun and the drive was beautiful.  After that, we headed out to lunch to celebrate some recent achievements Terrill has had at work.  The whole day was a blast.  We ended the day with painting our dining room.  I love my little family and the time we get to spend together, and I am so proud of Terrill for being awesome at what he does!!

Pismo

On the weekend of August 5th, we drove down to Pismo to spend time with some of our extended family.  My mom also flew in for the weekend to go with us.  It was really a lot of fun!!  This was family we hadn't seen in a really long time, but they couldn't have been more kind and welcoming.  It was a pretty short trip, but we got a lot in!  We watched the sunset on the beach, sat around the campfire, went running, went to the outlets and went to a really cute farm/market.   The only negative side was that the hotel we stayed in was super nasty.  We won't ever stay there again!! At least it was only a place to stay! haha.
