Summer in a Nutshell

I don't have time to catch up on every activity we did this summer but here are a bunch of pictures of things that we did.  It has been such a wonderful summer.  How did I get so blessed with such wonderful friends and family and kids!  Some of the things we did included, Mason trying soccer, John's visits, county fair, beach, tahoe, sparten race, froyo run, playing with friends and much much more!!

Utah in June

We took a trip out to Utah earlier this summer.  It was a lot of fun.  The kids and I drove with my Aunts and we survived! We played with cousins, helped my mom with some projects and did some crafty things too.  We also had a surprise baby shower for my sister!

Mason's preshool graduation

June was a busy month! We had Madison's birthday party on a Saturday, Preschool graduation on the following Tuesday and we left for Utah on Wednesday!  I felt like a crazy person for a few days.

Anyways, preschool graduation was so much fun and the kids were adorable.  The basic layout of the program was that they sang the Days of the Week song and their ABCs.  Then we presented diplomas and a picture book from the year to each child.  As each child came to stand on the stool for the presentation of the diploma's we also did a spotlight.  When that was over we had them say their Zoophonic's alphabet then it was over.  I have loved doing the preschool co-op.  Mason just loves all of the kids and going to different peoples houses each week. We have loved it so much, we are doing it again next year!!

Time to party - Madison is 1!!!

Madison is now 1 years old.  We had a huge party for her on Saturday and today was her 1 year check up.  She loved getting shots (not really) and only cried a little.  This little feisty miss only likes her bottles of milk sometimes, can be very picky with food but if we talk to her about how she needs to have another bite, she usually understands and will take another one! She has stood by herself a few times but no walking yet!  She loves her dolls and playing with Mason's toys.

We celebrated her birthday with family and friends.  She dug right into her cake and loved every minute of it.  In fact she cried when we took it away.  It was pretty funny!  We also switched her to a forward facing car seat and so far it seems to be going a lot better than the infant car seat since she can see me now.

Here are her 1 year stats:

Weight: 21 lbs 9 oz: 75%
Height: 30 1/2 inches: 90%
Head: 80%
