Halloween

Halloween has gotten a ton more exciting for Mason and that means its more exciting for me too!!  Mason really got it this year with getting candy and going door to door.  Our ward had a trunk or treat which he just loved as well.  For Halloween this year we had the Wolf family over for dinner, pictures and trick or treating.  I spent the day cooking because I did the whole dinner in halloween theme.  It was so much fun!! The kids were so cute and we had a great time with family.  We also met up with a few friends later on but that was short lived since Mason got so scared from the houses we trick or treated at.  Oops!!

Amy's Baby Shower

Back in September I threw a baby shower for my dear friend Amy Hovik.  We have known each other since we were 12ish.  She is having a sweet baby boy and I just love her to death!  We had a lot of fun at the shower with brunch, games and presents.  I am waiting to hear any day now about the arrival of baby boy Hovik!

Dates!

Since Madison has been born, we have had the privilege of going on quiet a few dates, thanks to in-laws and young women for babysitting.  It's been so nice to have some time with Terrill with just us two!  We have gone to the temple together, out to Jule's pizza, played tennis and gone to a roller skating party.  I love that being married to my best friend means endless dates for the rest of my life!

Tahoe Trips in September and October

So much is happening these days.  I am trying to keep up :)  We went to Tahoe twice in September and October and it was so much fun.  Both times we went crawdad fishing and the girls went up earlier than the guys.  It was fun to have girl time withe everyone and then for the guys to meet us up there!!  The weather was beautiful both times and the kids did great.  I am so thankful for the time we all get to spend together, in such a beautiful place!!

Family Time

A few weeks ago, we finally had one cool day in the weeks of scorching hot weather! It was on a Sunday afternoon/evening.  We decided to hang out on our front lawn and let Mason run around a bit and play with the baby.  It was so relaxing and nice to hangout with our little family!

Pre school Co-Op

Me and 4 other friends in our ward have started a preschool co-op.  For now we meet once a week on Wednesdays for 2 hours.  The kids LOVE it and they are also learning some fun things.   We do circle time, stories, playtime, snacks and a craft.  We are also doing Zoo phonics and Mason is remembering them all (we have only done 3) :).  We have also gone on a field trip the pumpkin patch and are probably planning more in the future.  Overall it has been a wonderful experience!!

We have had it at our house once.  The weather was beautiful so the kids played outside a lot and they were all SOO good.  I had such a fun time with them.

Madison 4 Month Stats

She had her 4 month check up today! She was a trooper, although she let out a good scream when she got her shots, but who wouldn't??!!  She has discovered her feet and LOVES to suck on them.  She laughs, talks and giggles often.  She can almost roll over but hasn't yet.  Sleeping through the night is still a regular event around here and she loves Mason.  He has learned to make her laugh.  We love our little chubby baby.
